What does "optimal health" actually mean to you? Is it having energy that lasts all day? Sleeping deeply? Never getting sick? Or simply feeling good in your body?

Drop your answer in the comments — I'll read every one. 👇
Most of us have been taught that health is the absence of illness. If nothing's technically "wrong," we're fine.
But Traditional Chinese Medicine sees it differently. Health isn't a box you tick — it's a state of balance. Balance between rest and activity, hot and cold, effort and ease. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), this is described through concepts like Yin and Yang, and the smooth flow of Qi (vital energy) through the body.
When that balance is disrupted — through poor sleep, stress, bad diet, or overexertion — the body starts sending signals. Fatigue. Bloating. Trouble sleeping. Skin flare-ups. These aren't random. In TCM, they're the body's way of saying "something's out of sync."
So what actually moves you toward optimal health?
Sleep & rest cycles — aligning with your body's natural rhythm, not fighting it
Food as medicine — eating in a way that supports digestion, not just calories
Gentle movement — practices like Qi Gong or Tai Chi that move Qi without depleting it
Emotional regulation — because unprocessed stress shows up in the body, not just the mind
Over the next few weeks, I'll be breaking down common health issues — bloating, fatigue, poor sleep, stress, skin problems, and more — through a TCM lens, with practical lifestyle support you can start using right away.
Follow along, and let's redefine what optimal health looks like for you. 🌿
